All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Browns awarded an extra 9 yards in last week's game
The Browns were awarded an additional 9 yards when Elias Sports Bureau made a scoring change Dec. 16. Elias changed what was officially registered as a 9-yard sack to an aborted play -- improving Cleveland's offensive total to 26 net yards.
That IS messed up. They still count spikes that kill the clock as incompletions, don't they? See why I hate stats so much? They only tell you where you've been; not where you're going.
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

So Takeo loses the sack, too? When I heard this on Empire I didn't get it, and I still don't. Did they lose the yardage on the field, or did the officials move the ball back to the original line of scrimmage?
If the play set them back 9 yards, why doesn't it count?
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
. . . Or did the whistle blow the play dead because of a false start, TO, delay of game, or some other reason? Then we'd understand.
