It's been two years since Takeo Spikes last played a football game in Cincinnati. He's got fond memories of the five seasons he spent as a Bengal, but he hasn't looked back at his decision to leave the anonymity he felt he lived and played in here and seek wider recognition in the free agent market. ...more (http://www.cincypost.com/2004/12/18/bengside12-18-2004.html)

Linebacker Takeo Spikes hasn't second-guessed his decision to leave the Bengals for the Buffalo Bills almost two years ago. The Bills come to Paul Brown Stadium Sunday.

I'm happy with the Spikes move to the Bills too! Both my son and I have Spikes jerseys! We're 7-2 since I started wearing his Spikes jersey on game day!

While it's good to hear that, in reality what else is he going to say in public. Even if the Bengals were 11-3 and the Bills were 1-13, he'd still say the same thing imo.

I think Spikes would have been happy with a $32 million contract from anyone; money has a way of making some things bearable that otherwise you would say is unbearable.

Spikes has been the best defensive player in the league over the past month. An absolute monster.

Did you see peppers play tonight? I was sad Carolina lost that is one good football team that started 1-7.

Second to Julius Peppers....now that guy is an uncaged animalSean Taylor needs to be mentioned as well imo. As a rookie he is amazing...he will only get better and that's just plain scary.
