I thought the Steelers were just going to kill the Giants, but the Giants have been showing some heart today. Their defense is pressuring Roethlisberger and shutting down Bettis. The Pittsburgh special teams sucks too! McGee will have a field day against them. :snicker: :D

Oh, there we go, Roethlisberger to Randle El. Touchdown!

Score is now 17-14 Steelers

No, I want them to win...and then I want Miami to upset New England on MNF. This will make it so the Steelers don't need to worry about the week 17 game. :snicker:

We need the Steelers to win. They need to have something to play for in the next weeks (I think they play some of the teams that we're in the wildcard race with)

One big question that I have...

Why the hell is Ben Roethlisberger wearing gloves?!??! What a wimp! No wonder his touch passes are off, the gloves **** up your throwing.

Their defense looks sooo damn overrated right now. Tiki Barber is tearing them up and even Eli is burning their secondary. :ill:

And now you can see that Eli is going to be one of the good ones. Next season he will have had 5-6 games under his belt and I will bet he will look really good.
While it may have been a mistake to start him, there's no question it will pay off big time next year. One step back, two forward.

But they benched God himself, Kurt Warner to play him.

Poor, one-sided officiating won this game for the Steelers. First, the none late hit call on Tiki that would have kept there drive going. Then, the bogus unnecessary roughness call on the Giants when the player was just holding Big Ben and he fell down that kept a drive going to an eventual field goal. And their were others like the bogus celebration penalty on the Giants after the kickoff touchdown. And the lack of NO celebration penalty when Randle El scored his recieving touchdown, freaking unsuited Plaxico was at midfield celebrating.

Anywho, as long as the Bills don't get "away jobbed" as I call it, we're gonna beat em easy.

I just hope the sipping Steelers have enough in the tank to hold off Baltimore next week. They look very beatable.

I expect Eli is going to be fine as a QB. The question is did Coughlin give up a possible playoff run by dumping Warner, who was not ripping defenses by any means but was winning some games and clearly outplayed Manning compared to every game Manning has played prior to today? Should a coach ever make a change that sacrifices a possible playoff appearance?

It's always an adventure when Gerry Austen's crew does a game. I just hope we don't get Tom White and HIS comedy of errors tomorrow. With them, Sunday is always laundry day.
