Of course, we gota beat Cinci... no question about that.

Denver at KC @ 1... in order to get ahead of Denver, I think we really need this to go in KC's favor.

Seattle at NYJ @ 1... If Seattle beats NY, it'll do us a HUGE favor and make our shot of getting in much larger than it has been.

Jacksonville at Green Bay @ 4:15... Jacksonville's schedule after this is Houston and Oakland. If they lose this game in cold Green Bay, they are behind us in the standings and are no longer a problem for us.

Baltimore @ Indianapolis @ 8:30... Indy really needs to get this win for us... Baltimore is very dangerous for us if they don't lose this game.

And as a side note, if Miami somehow pulls off the huge upset against NE, that would just be icing on the cake... putting Pittsburgh more comfortably ahead of NE instead of only leading by a tie breaker, making their game against us potentially less important for them.

Was just going to add that. I will most definitely be watching for these....

Well I'm off to the bar to watch... GO BILLS! :rockout:

I'm rooting for GB today - normally I don't, but I don't want Jacksonville to be in the hunt for the playoffs. :D Frank's not too happy with me cheering on GB. :snicker:

Too bad for him. Jacksonville has some pretty winnable games in the next two weeks... we really need GB to take Jacksonville out of contention. The Bills suffer a big setback if Jacksonville wins.

Not as big of a setback as it was by the Seahawks losing to the Jets.

The only way the Jags make the playoffs is if they winout. It's not that easy for them.
Houston at Jacksonville, 1:00 p.m.
Jacksonville at Oakland, 4:15 p.m.

Both games are winnable, but also loseable.

You can NEVER count Favre out of the game. He always comes to play the entire game, and always does. I truly admire him as a QB. Since I usually don't watch GB games unless they play the Vikes, I don't know a lot about the rest of the team, but Favre is a great football player.

I disagree... NY has always been the toughest team for us to catch up with... I've doubted that we could catch up with them from the very beginning. We don't need to though. The chances have always been greater that we could get ahead oof Baltimore, Denver and Jacksonville. Jacksonville winning is much worse than NY winning. Jacksonville is basically a team we MUST get ahead of... NY is not. We can let NY stay ahead of us... we absolutely CANNOT let Jacksonville stay tied with us... This is Jacksonville's touighest game over their last three... if they win, it is NOT good.

don't let your hatred for the Jets blind you...

At least Denver lost today, which is a big help. I don't think Baltimore will beat the Colts tonight. Their defense gets a lot of kudos, but I think Manning will not only beat the record tonight, but will win the game for the Colts. It helps that the Baltimore offense can't move the ball. Of course, they've won 85% of their games this year on defensive turnovers, so that part is scary.

You can NEVER count Favre out of the game. He always comes to play the entire game, and always does.

The Packs problems this year stem from Favre, IMO. In the beginning of the season, he acknowledged that he was on his downhill swing, and Ahman was the reason they were so dangerous the past year, year-and-a-half. They played that way the 1st 2 or 3 games this year. However, their defense stinks most of the time, and to boot, Favre still has times where he goes out there and plays like he was still his Super Bowl-winning self. He's not. They need to focus on the running game, and use Favre as option #2. He tries too much to be a hero still, and he's not the same as he was anymore.

We hold the tiebreaker with the Jets. It would be great for Buffalo if the Jets lose to the Patriots next week and then in St Louis in week 17. We win out...Bills/Jets tied...10-6. Bills hold tiebreaker advantage.

Then we need the Ravens to lose 2 out of the next three...they'd be 9-7. Denver is tied with us now and only needs to lose 1 out of the next two. If both those happen...we make the playoffs with Jacksonville (if they run the table, unlikely) and the Jets to fight for the other spot. Like I said...who cares about Jacksonville? I don't.

Let's not get too happy, as Garrard is a capable backup. He's mobile, to boot.

Plus, even Rob Johnson could throw for 350 yards & 3 TDs against GBs "secondary". :winkpunch
