That's pretty darn good in the NFL. We're 7-1 in our last 8 games.

While I agree, remember who those wins have come against..all losing teams except the Jets (and Seattle who is 1-4 in their last 5 games).

Miami: 2-11
Cincy: 6-8
Seattle: 7-7
Jets: 10-4
Arizona: 4-9
Cleveland: 3-11

Good teams win against the bad ones, so we're accomplishing that. However we need to see how we stack up against Pitt to know where this team really is IMO.

Yes that will be a telling game. I really think we will compete with them though... I don't see them crushing us.

Meanwhile the jets are 10-3 and haven't beat anyone good.... but it's ok for them... we're overrated.

But remember we didn't just beat these bad teams...we killed these bad teams. :snicker:

Only good teams beat up on the bad teams like we have been doing. The average teams usually just get by those games.

We have had good timing in some of these games too. Palmer misses today. We play against McCown last week... etc

Still I am enjoying these blowouts we've had so far this season.

The weak schedule excuse doesn't fly too well, though, because many teams make the Super Bowl on playing through weak scheds. I don't remember the '01 Pats blowing through the NFLs best all regular season to get to the SB.

this is the whiniest thing I hear from the haters...complaining about how good the teams are we beat

I don't remember the '01 Pats blowing through the NFLs best all regular season to get to the SB.That's true...however even with a weak sched you still have about 3-4 tough teams on it. Our tough teams this year are/were the jags, ravens and pitt. (in addition to our normal division games against jets and pats). We split with the jets but lost all the other ones. Hopefully we can pull it out vs Pitt. That game worries me.

Well said, Philster. What are you supposed to do---Lose the "easy" games, just to make up for the fact other teams might think you had it easy?

True. The Jags game was a heartbreaker. I couldn't believe it. The Pats games are almost a non-watch/follow now, because you almost know before it starts what is going to happen. The main heartbreaker this year was the Raiders game. Even though it wasn't a "tough" team, losing to them was a killer for me, personally. :fury:

That's a good point, Mikey. With the NFC West being on the table for all the AFC East teams, each of the Fins, Pats, Bills, and Jets should've gotten 2 wins automatically: Against SF & Arizona. The Rams are not as good this year, and the Seahawks, depending on what week you play them, are either dominating, or a no-show. The Bills ran the first 3 so far, and should (I can't foresee any problems) blast the 49ers, going 4-0 against the NFC West this season.

The Patriots have the EXACT same schedule except for 2 freaking games. I don't want to hear the schedule excuse. :rolleyes:And you just proved the point. With the EXACT same schedule (not to mention on of those 2 freaking games was a win against Indy, 10-3), the records are:

Pats: 12-1 (play miami tomorrow, so likely going to be 13-1)
Bills: 8-6

Not sure I would have used that example to make your case. :idunno:

I give up. I'm done with you. We have won 5 in a row and 7 out of the last 8, yet you still won't shut the **** up and be happy. Screw it. You aren't worth my time. :::

uhhh....so, without their 2 wins against us...the Pats are 10-1 while the Bills are 8-4.

Hmmm....not as different as you thought....are they?

Any way you cut it...we have won convincingly five weeks in a row. End of discussion really. It's quite an accomplishment in this league.

Hmmm....not as different as you thought....are they?Best use of Wysian Logic I've seen in awhile. "If you take away WM's 40 yard run, his average was only 3.2, etc., etc." :shakeno:

We may be doing well lately but I truly hope you are not putting the Bills in the same category as the Pats. That's rose-colored glasses to the extreme.

Look, I'm happy we won. Just because I like to see the forest through the trees doesn't mean I'm not enjoying the wins.
