Final Meal Requests

This is pretty weird, but from Dec/82 thru June/02 someone actually kept a record of final meal requests on death row in Texas! Chicken seems to be the big winner! It also struck me that the outrageous orders had to have come from those who wanted to "STICK it to SOMEONE" one last time...price wise, that is...but as it says, meals ordered were not always what was served! LOL Doz, I thought of that too, then I convinced myself they were hoping to have a heart attack to avoid the electric chair. If anything, it would postpone things if it didn't kill 'em first!

I would order my grandma's strudels, pigeon (yes, the little birds), and boiled potatoes. Dessert would be home-made ice cream. Then I could die in peace.:peace:

I would order one of those "Betcha Can't" eat it steaks. All 72oz of it, nice and rare. I have always wanted to do that, but I fear my sytem would be in shock for a month, choking the slab of red meat through it.

I'd definitely order wings with celery and bleu cheese...but not just any bleu cheese...Marzetti's Blue Cheese dressing. :hungry:

I think if I were ever in that position, I'd order a liquid lunch/dinner. I'd just hope there were time enough to catch the white bus beforehand, because at least at that point I wouldn't know what the hell was going on.

I saw a site similar to that about 2 years ago...not only does it tell you their last meal...you cand find out how they got on death row...

I went back and looked through a few and it is actually the same site...They changed up the look on a few of them and it threw me off...Its amazing the kind of sick people that live amongst us...:sadwalk:
