another interesting note from my weekly footballguys.com email.. actually it was a quote...

over our last 5 games - 22 takeaways.
There just might be a correlation with our five game winning streak. Seriously, giveaway to takeaway ratio is one of the few statistics that mean something.

I thought it was Drews blazing accuracy that was making it all happen! Oh well, it's good to know he's going to be there in a game we don't get over 5 turnovers.

We're like the 2000 Ravens. Smash mouth running game, suffocating defense, and aggressive special teams. All Drew has to do is what Trent Dilfer did, plays well and consistent enough on offense and we will win every time.

I think our DL might have more picks this year than our whole team last year:funny:

No question about it. The turnovers have significantly helped this team! It just makes the entire team look better when we get a pick and start our drive on the opponents 30 yard line. I really think that Mcgee is a big reason for our turnover turnaround. (say that fast 3 times)
He has the speed and athleticism to make plays that QB's think he may have no chance of. If we can make the playoffs, the rest of the nation will also see this. who knows, maybe he can get his own sneakers too and throw out the first pitch of the World Series one day.

I think the three or four previous years, we were last or very near last in the league in takeaways.
