Bills Sign Banta; Place Euhus on IR

Orchard Park, NY - The Bills announced today that the team has signed TE Bradford Banta.

Banta spent the past three seasons with the Detroit Lions after a one year stint with the New York Jets in 2000. The 11-year veteran out of Southern California was drafted in the fourth round of the 1994 NFL Draft by Indianapolis and spent the first six years of his career with the Colts. Over his 11-year career, Banta has played in 140 games.

The team also announced today that it has placed TE Tim Euhus on Injured Reserve.

Took a while to find it though. They should have that updated better. Their transactions are behind.

They HAVE updated it which confuses me. They put #54, Jon Dorenbos, on it and he got injured in game after Euhus. It makes no sense if they needed to put Eucus on IR to sign Bradford Banta.

Apparently, the person in charge of updating the BB.com website roster forgot to change Euhus. I'm sure he's IR.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
