When Jerry Gray joined the Buffalo Bills coaching staff four years ago, there was the perception that he was the defensive coordinator in name only.
There was a school of thought that while Gray called the plays, it was using a game plan devised by Gregg Williams. And, as the unit blossomed last season, it was because of Dick LeBeau's input.
