All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The good news for the Steelers is that, having clinched home-field advantage through the playoffs, they can afford to rest Roethlisberger in their regular-season finale at Buffalo
Don't know if that's particularly good news. Tommy Maddox is a seasoned veteran and a competitor who will be trying his butt off to beat us.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Yeah true. Nevermind that the other guy WON 14 GAMES IN A ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you watched many of the Steelers' games? Roethlisberger has played like a rookie on several occasions, only to be bailed out by their running game, their D, or a circus catch.
Maddox will be every bit as good in their system as Big Bad Ben.

Lee Suggs?
He had a busy day huh? He had 40 rushes against the Fins last night and still was able to late hit Roethlisberger......j/k, it was Terrell Suggs.

Saw it on Sportcenter, Ron Jaworski reports that Bill Cowher will rest everyone next week who is not 100% healthy. Now if he really did do this then he would be starting at WR. But it is safe to assume that Ben and the Bus will sit next week. If the Bus does play though it should only be for a half.

If enough of the Steelers get a rest, there will certainly be a positive impact for us.
But to think that Roetlisberger is somehow the heart of this team, and resting just him would give us a super advantage, is attributing WAY too much importance to his role.

Ok, we get the point Jan. You're more afraid of Tommy Maddox!
Nobody agrees with you, but we understand what you're saying.
