Cowboys draft pick

One of the guys at work for the last few weeks, keeps telling me to "STOP IT"! The first time he said that, I stopped and looked at him and said "What??". He said, "The Bills are screwing up our draft pick by winning. STOP IT." So after that every Monday, I'd go into work and smile at him as I walked by. :D

So where are they right now in the lineup? Does anyone know?

Tell him that winning is hurting the Bills draft pick as well but they are not stopping so why should they care about hurting Dallass's pick?

i will man up and say that i thought we gave up a top 5 pick for sure, when we were 0-4, but if you say that you didnt think close to the same, then your a liar.

on the same token, i never once critisized the bills for taking jp and trading those picks for him. i always thought that was a good move, because i dont like any of the qbs in this draft more than losman.

i am glad that we are screwing the cowboys.. i would love to see them get pick 32.

Yeah helmet guy, after the first four games I thought the pick was top 5. The problem is I missed your post where you said don't worry, they are going to go 12-2 the rest of the way and have a shot at the playoffs. The pick will be no lower than 20.

Nobody could have predicted that the team go on a streak like they've been on lately. However, at 0-4, I never had any doubt that we could climb out of the hole to, say, 8-8 (which is 2 wins less than my pre-season prediction). As for TOS, did I call any poster "Chicken Little" directly? And, how is my indirect reference any different than the references to the "DLC"; whatever that may be?

When the Bills started 0-4 and the press/media was projecting how GREAT Dallas was looking, making out with a potential top 5 pick from Buffalo, a Cowboy fan I work with kept eggin' it on with me. All he can do now is keep saying the same tired rehash crap about "ho-ho you'll just lose in the SuperBowl if you get there." Told him to get some new material but I don't think he's that bright... So yeah I classify him as a chicken little..

JP wasn't the 15th pick.

A 24th or higher in 2005/2004 2nd and 5th rdr for a 2004 23rd overall sounds pretty good. JP has had a year to learn already.

I get my info from the great blue North report, but it agrees with the Huddle Report. The Dallas pick from Buffalo is at 25 currently. All that will change once the playoffs begin. Regardless of record, teams that are in the playoffs pick after those who don't make the playoffs. If Buffalo does not make the playoffs because both the Jets and Broncos win, then the picks of teams like Seattle will drop while Dallas' Buffalo pick jumps to no lower than 20. Or course by going to the Super Bowl and winning, we would drop Dallas' Buffalo pick to 32, but I imagine we won't be thinking about the pick any more so much as savoring the win.

Even at 0-4, I figured the Bills would be drafting no worse than 13-15. I figured teams like the 49ers, Dolphins, Bears, and Browns would tank. I figured the Bills would still finish no worse than 7-9, 8-8.

Two teams I thought would draft low but turned it around were the Panthers and Packers.

The 4 super bowl losses, the No Goal against the Stars and the Music City Miracle were an absolute beating. At the start of the season I took a ton of crap over the pick. It's been great watching each teams fortunes change. Now everyone just hangs their head when they see me come Monday mornings.

I'm sure few will believe me, but I told friends in Buff that if we can go 2-3 over the stretch with NE, STL & SEA we'd have a shot at the playoffs, because after that we'd be facing 4 weak teams. After the NE loss I had serious doubts, but I never gave up the faith! Final prediction, Bills win (facing a depleted starting Steelers squad), Jets fall on the road and Plummer chokes under the pressure and Denver loses in a tight game.
