It sounds ridiculous. There might be some ownership and estate tax issues when Ralph passes, but how does the NFL justify moving a franchise with the kind of fan base that the Bills have?

The traffic getting to and from the game would be awful. No way this happens.

it was reported in newsday. they have a website newsday.com I'd think anything on paper would be on the site. We get traffic for islander games at nassau. I think they were gunna expand Hofstra Stadium

Tell that to Cleveland and Baltimore- two of the biggest most loyal bases ever.

The ridiculous part of this thread is the Long Island part. NY has 2 teams now that share a stadium, and with the blackout rules NY already gets screwed by losing a game on TV most weeks.

The Jets if anyone will be the ones to relocate back to LI if anyone does. They won't replace the dump the Islanders play in, what makes you think one of the most broke county governments with the most taxed people living there will sustain a football stadium?

The Jets are in the process of getting approval to build a stadium in Manhattan.

Right - you have a bridge in Long Island to sell?

BREMERTON, Wash. - It takes Bruce Roe 30 minutes of twisting, tweaking and hairspraying to get his 10-inch Wild West mustache competition-ready. Such is life for those who competitively cultivate their facial hair.

Roe worked at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard with Gary Johnson, whose hobbies include waxing his 22-inch-wide mustache and pointy beard and dressing up as Buffalo Bill Cody. Roe and Johnson began ..

I would no longer follow them and find it very hard to follow NFL football ever again.

I along with my network of Bills loving friends across the country would detonate an explosive device at midfield of every home team the night before Week 1 if the Bills ever moved. The resulting craters would force the NFL to cancel all games. There might be a little something for NFL HQs also. But nobody gets injured.

We'd be like the IRA. We'd have a political side holding press conferences then the black ops side.

I hope it doesn't come down to this though. Organizing this would really cut into my time for internet porn surfing.

What I think should happen is move the Jets to New Jersey and move the Giants back into NY state. I think the New Jersey Jets has a nice ring to it and I'd like to get rid of that crappy team. Leave the Bills where they are. Moving them would be stupid, ESPECIALLY if they moved down to Long Island. There's too many teams down there as it is.

I was talking to someone the other day (not a credible source - a Jets fan).... and he was saying that Jersey doesn't intend to renew the lease for Giants stadium. Has anyone else heard this? He also said that Jersey actually owns the Giants (I didn't realize that). Has anyone else heard this? If Jersey doesn't renew.... would that only affect the Jets? Or both teams?
