All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Jets don't have to lose. Bills don't have to win IF Balt & Den lose.
Because if the Jets & Bills win, and they lose, then Jets get the div playoffs while the Bills get the wildcard.
But..if Balt & Den win & Bills lose, we're out?

The Bills must win, and either the Jets or Denver must lose. Both do not have to lose. If you want to get technical, Buffalo would get in if Denver tied, but let's not bother going there. Baltimore dropped out of the picture by losing to Pittsburgh. Jacksonville also dropped out by losing to Houston.

If Buffalo does happen to lose, then they are out period, because they lose to the Jets via record and Denver via the tiebreaker even if both of them lose Sunday too. If that happens, and both Baltimore and Jacksonville win, then other tiebreakers come into play with Denver, Baltimore and Jacksonville, but Buffalo is out so it's irrelevant to me.

Bills need to win no matter what. We hold no tiebreakers with anyone except the Jets.
Even if the Jets, Broncos, Ravens, and Jaguars all lose, the Bills are out of the playoffs unless we win. Jets and Broncos would go if the above happened.
The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.
