but we are going to suck next year big time! Jennings will be gone, Drew will still be at the helm. Moulds contract is in question! I just dont see us winning next year.

any input

Jennings can leave. Marcus Price can step right into his shoes with no drop in play.

Bledsoe will be gone.

We'll have a new kicker.

Moulds is over rated. Evans already can match his play. No loss if does leave.

Jennings in not that irreplaceable... I have a good feeling Moulds will be back.

As for Drew... We can only pray...

Jennings is good! not shut down big time good but solid. Evans is not ready to be a number 1 yet and Drew will still be here Since we had a so called "winning season"

Evens has had these huge numbers because opposing def's stick to moulds, w/out moulds theyll just double team evans and then we'll have no passing at all

sorry you dont like my thoughts Im just telling you what I think. I know it sucks and I am almost never one to look at the negitive side, but it light of this disappointing loss to 2nd teamers all the wind for my sails for next year is gone.

Drew is the problem. Since Drew needs to get rid of the ball quicly, Moulds has had to run 5-10 yds routes plus Drew is not accurate w/ the short passes. When was the last time Moulds was told to run deep?

Evans is good and will get better but you guys fail to realize he cannot carry this team on his own. He hasn't shown anyone what he can do in double, triple coverage? He isn't ready and after Evans, there's ahuge drop off with Reed and Aiken.

However, I don't think Moulds is worth 8 million either.

I am NOT defending Drew but Moulds did drop his fair share of passes this season. Pro-Bowl receivers do not drop passes like Moulds does. He is a good receiver but he is not one of the league's elite worth a huge contract. TD will not pay him top dollar to stay.

If you think Moulds dropped his share of passes due to his own ineptude, you ARE defending Drew.

I think this team will be good next year. Jennings can leave, id be pleased if we kept him, but I dont think hes worth what someone will give him. The D will be intact, the O line needs a couple of pieces. Willis will be 100%, McGee will have pratically a whole year under his belt, as with Evans and Mularkey.

Here's his stats through the years

1998 Buffalo Bills 16 15 67 1368 20.4 84 9 22 8 54
1999 Buffalo Bills 14 14 65 994 15.3 54 7 13 6 44
2000 Buffalo Bills 16 16 94 1326 14.1 52 5 23 4 62
2001 Buffalo Bills 16 16 67 904 13.5 80 5 13 5 42
2002 Buffalo Bills 16 15 100 1292 12.9 70 10 14 6 64
2003 Buffalo Bills 13 13 64 780 12.2 49 1 10 1 35
2004 Buffalo Bills 15 15 84 1006 12.0 49 5 12 2 51

in 1998 when Flutie was throwing to him , he had 1368 yds because he was made to run deep. Up until 2002 (2003 he was injured) running short toutes was not his forte'. Moulds is a player that when thrown up in the air, he makes the plays. Having Drew took that playmaking ability because Drew tends to overthrow when trying to throw a jump ball to Moulds.

This year, he has was made to run 5-10 yds because of Drew, a role he wasn't made for.

I guarantee you, if we had a qb who could move in the pocket and buy enough time for both Moulds and Evans to go deep. Moulds will have his probowl year again. Moulds. Reed and Evans has had their drops when Drew is throwing short passes although not much w/ Evans because he is told to run deep when Moulds attracts db's up the middle.

Like I said, he isn't worth the $ he's getting next year though. We will regret the day we will let him go. He's still an elite given the right qb.

I think a more consistent pass blocking would solve all these problems. The WR's would have more time to get open, and the QB would have more time to read the field and wait for someone to break open. All good teams have this, and don't need the QB to run out of the pocket all the time. The Bills o-line improved a lot during the season, but just wasn't good enough today against Pittsburgh.

However, in previous weeks, when the o-line held up much better, Evans was able to get open down the field and Bledsoe was hitting him. Moulds just did not have a very good season IMO. He may have lost a step, but I think his biggest problem was his hands. He used to make a lot of amazing catches, now he is dropping a lot of routine ones.
