    Downfield blocking on run plays

Just out of curiosity, what postition is generally responsible for downfield blocking on run plays (take out the DBs)? Is it the WRs?

I ask because I've seen quite a few RBs, who are no faster than Willis, take runs a long distance for a TD. The Bills can't seem to accomplish this for some reason. It shouldn't be because of Willis' speed - he has that. Is it something in the design of the plays or the blocking schemes, or are a couple of guys not doing their part in the grunt work?

    WRs, mainly...depending on the play.

I actually noticed that the Bills have become really good at blocking downfield. At least far better than earlier this season.

Maybe it has something to do with Reed?
