View Full Version : Why the hell did we kick to their returner on the kickoffs

The problems with this game are too numerous for me to bother listing- but here's one that got me:

On the Bills first kickoff, they squib-kicked it. Why didn't they use this strategy the whole game, and try some onsides kicks when they got behind? Allowing the Jets to return the ball guaranteed them good field position- the defense couldn't tackle Martin to save their lives and Nate Clements can't cover every receiver on the field.

With the early squib kick and the unexpected onsides last week, I thought at least the special teams had some creative plays in their book. Why continue to use the conservative crap when its' proven ineffectual time and time again?

Side note: Chris Watson couldn't cover a sandwich with Saran Wrap- he better have a pink slip in his locker by the time that plane lands in Buffalo tomorrow...

Cmon now, youve got to show some kind of confidence in your Special Teams...that wouldve sucked kicking it into the Endzone all the time.
