Conquest kicker Vinny C. to tryout with Buffalo Bills Tuesday

Following an impressive rookie arenafootball2 season, Albany Conquest kicker Vinny Cirrincione has been granted a tryout with the Buffalo Bills to take place Tuesday morning (Jan. 11).

“This is another reason why Albany is an attractive place for players to be,” said Albany Conquest Head Coach Richard Davis. “We are sandwiched between several NFL teams that pay attention to the players we have on the roster. This is a great opportunity for Vinny to have a chance to elevate his professional football playing career.”

      Where's mikey82?

THIS is what TD meant when he said that player changes would become obvious...

The fact that it is some arena player is not the good news. The good news is that it means he is looking to replace Lindell.

I think the fact that he's from the af2 could be of small significance...their accuracy has to be better than NFL kickers because the goalposts are half the distance as they are in the NFL

They are 9 ft wider in the NFL and they are 5 ft higher too.

I'd take accuracy over distance at this point!

A 28 yarder may have spelled a different game...

I like the team's aggressive attitude by pursuing upgrades the first week after their season is over...
