Now that we are 5-6, at the bottom of the division, and hopes of making the playoffs are diminishing fast if any at all, for me personally, the season has boiled down to simply sweeping the Phish and playing spoiler for the Pats. I probably wouldn't even mind if the Jets win the division, and bumping the Phish and the NE Idiots out of the playoffs.
Several teams in the AFC have as good or better records than the Dolphins and the Patriots now, without leading their divisions: Indy, Oakland, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Tennessee. When it comes down to it, there'll be many many teams fighting for those 2 wildcard spots. And I hope the Phish and the Pats will be left out in the cold.
Yes, this IS in fact another rebuilding year for us. They've GOTTA produce next season or I'll really be POed.
