Henry's agent gets permission to seek trade.

The agent for unhappy Buffalo Bills tailback Travis Henry, who lost his starting job to Willis McGahee during the 2004 season, has received permission from team officials to discuss with other franchises the possibility of trading for his client.

Best of luck to Travis he did his job here kind of... Lets hope we get something for him.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
      It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I really don't think anyone should harbor any bad feelings toward Travis.

He played his ASS off for this team...gave his all. Yeah he had the fumbleitis in 2002, but he made up for that in 2003.

He is human so of course he was a bit pissed that we drafted his replacement after a he had just put up great numbers...
and he is a smart enough football guy to know that Willis is a more naturally gifted back than he is.

I would be sincerely happy if Travis has a great career no matter where he goes and gets national recognition for being a warrior.
He is a good guy...and he is fun to watch run......I am thankful for the good memories.

Let's hope the trade goes down fast and that we get what he is really worth (2nd rounder) not what his value has dropped to this season (late 3rd/early 4th).

I hope we can get something like a high 3rd round pick for him.

Like Donahoe said, we won't give him away. That's a good thing IMO.

anything lower than a 2nd rouonder is giving him away. we used a 2nd rounder for him and he has been a 1000 yard back behind a weak line and pro bowler.

the fact that we have mcgahee in no way should effect his value. remember how many teams wanted drew and we gave a 1st despite knowing that they had brady. the key is to get a little bidding war going.

Ive said it before and Ill say it again....

No way we get anything higher than a 4th for TH

Look at what Dillion got cincy just last season, and Corey is twice the back TH is.

The key to RB's is stats, and this year, Travis had none.....

to be fair though, dillion was what 31 or 32, travis is only 26.
