Jeff George is shopping around looking for a team, but nobody wants him. They claim he may be too good. That's a good excuse for not signing an old washed up QB.

He met with Jon Gruden recently in Indy, and they just rehashed some old memories. George is genuinely interested in playing again this season.

Here's the story from cnn/si.com George (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/inside_game/michael_silver/news/2002/08/01/silver_viewpoint/)

I'll never forget when he was at Purdue, he got injured in a game and his mother ran out on the field. Sissy boy. People said he was the biggest prima donna they had ever seen.

Fiedler off the PUP yet WCoastfin?

Did you know he was even on it? Can you name his back up?

I heard he also lost 6 pints of blood getting his ears pierced... they had to use a drill press to get through those garbage can lids hanging off his skull :fiedler:

The guy needs the right system, just like Rich Gannon did.

His nembers in Minn. were great.

all of those numbers don't mean squat if you can't win.he's notorious for having a losing record as a starter.he's a chump.
