I actually think theres a good chance he will say no.

Bledsoe may be a nice guy but, he has one hell of an ego.

He probably thinks he deserves all the money he is making right now.

I look at the bigger picture, This is the first indication we have gotten that Drew is on the hot seat with the Bills. You gotta celebrate the little victories. It's just the begining of the end :D

Shoot I wanted to quote your realist post, oh well :laughter:

Yep! It shows they are not going to just give him the starting job back. Guess TD sees what the DLC does not

Just because Mortenson said it, doesn't necessarily make it so.

Don't get your hopes up too high just yet.

offer him vet min.. we need a strong 3rd stringer behind losman and matthews.. let him fight out a roster spot with zolman next year. :snicker:

Steelers fans got their hopes up back in 97...they thought Kelly was gonna come down and teach Kordella to be an NFL QB based on something Mort said :snicker:

while your right, mort is about as reliable as you can get in reporting on the nfl.

I wouldn't doubt it if Mort says it... sometimes things change after he says it... but i'm sure if it wasn't true, mort wouldn't report it. he has integrity and is VERY level headed and balanced.

I assume that the Bills figure Drew will take another cut. he had a very up and down year and if taking a cut makes the team better in other areas, i think he owes it to them to do it, if he wants 1 last chance.

we need to upgrade the oline, and resign a few players... not just Jennings and Williams, but you have to look to next year with Sam (i think), Nate and McGee.

The truth is Moulds and Drew will need to take a hit both.

How come no one is mentioning that Zona may be offering their high 2nd for Henry?

I don't think he will play for $6.95/hour. :snicker:

As much as I want him out of Buffalo with every fiber of my being, if he is offered a restructure he is more than likely going to take it.

If he does restructure to a much lower salary figure that allows us to sign other players, I have no problem with him staying around. With a lower salary comes the mentality that he is not a super star player and that will hopefully mean that MM will pull him from a game sooner if he is stinking it up.

If we decide not to keep Drew, it doesn't mean the coach is ready to go with Losman. It just means that they are fed up with Drew. Vote for Morman behind center in 05'.

I expect Drew will decline the paycut. He knows what we all know. There will be a huge bidding war for him if he's on the FA market. TD is an idiot for playing hardball with our most valuable player.

Hopefully they can sell him on the restructure...because that will make him much better trade bait...but I don't expect him to take a paycut for that very reason.
