How would you like Tom Modrak negotiating with Tom Donahoe for Travis Henry? There would absolutely be no bluffing for Modak would know Donahoe's entire hand.

The Buffalo Bills probably won't get the second-round choice they are seeking for tailback Travis Henry, to whom they have granted permission to speak with other teams about possible trade scenarios, but there is a pretty good market already for him. Henry is a tough inside runner whose résumé includes two 1,000-yard seasons, and agent Hadley Engelhard has already talked to several interested suitors. ...

Buffalo assistant general manager Tom Modrak might quietly be a candidate for the GM post with Nick Saban in Miami.

Henry has heart and is a proven starter on this level.

It bothers me more to see Modrak go to the Dolphins than Travis Henry.

Don't know much about who the GM will be for the Fins, Saban is under a lock down and any thing you hear is just rumors. The press, the fans, nobody knows what he is doing.

PS

Didn't the Seahawks just sign someone for that job??

I thought Saban was going to have absolute power in Miami, and doesn't get a GM.

He will have final say but wants a GM, as of now he says Speilman is staying on, but not sure how long that will last.

It will work something like NE but with Saban having more power. They were just talking with a reporter from NE on ESPN, she said Belichek used Saban every year for the draft, he relied on Saban alot for his talent search.

It was just on TV, bonnie bernstein on mike north show in chicago (Directv is great) talking about the patriots. she said that bellichick(sorry about spelling)still uses nick saban up until him getting dolphin job to help tell him which college players have good talent. she said he uses nick sabans way of picking guys with talent. she also said nick saban was one if not the best talent person she knows and that is why he was in such demand.

Isn't Modrak always "going somewhere" every offseason???
