HOCKEY LINES
being a Sabres fan,i had the luxury to watch The French Connection as a kid.they are,by far,my favorite.

I was born in 1970 so I wasn't reall aware of what I was watching when the French Connection was playing. I did get to enjoy Gilbert at the later parts of his career. I loved the Mogilny-Lafontaine-May line. -

For the Sabres I loved watching the May, Plante, Audette line they were all over the ice..
For the rest of the NHL I used to like watching The Stasney bros. Marion Peter & Antoine They always didnt play together Goulet played on that line sometimes to. They always kicked our butts whenever we played against them.

Being from boston I used to Love the Neely and Janney line. Janney was one of the best set-up guys of his day. And I dont know if I need to say anything about Cam.I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
