According to Buffalo BIlls Insider, we have TWO 3rd round draft choices this year, the 2nd being a compensatory pick from the Vikings b/c of Winfield. Does anyone see any possible truth to this? That would be great if it's true.
We have TWO third rounders.

i don't think this can be true.
as i understand it, teams are only awarded compensatory picks when they lose more players to FA than they acquire. There is no formula for losing "blue chip" players and aquiring "value" players. It's strictly numbers.
we signed FA Troy Vincent. That's a wash with Winfield. We will not have a compensatory pick. Even if we DO, it would NOT be a 3rd rounder. 7th, maybe.

I wouldn't give up too much just t0o get into the 1st round...just cuz it's the 1st round don't make it a guarantee. I'd rather have 3 third-rounders (assuming we get a third for TH) than one first and no thirds.Infrequent poster, daily visitor.

I'm not believing this one for a minute...we'll be lucky to get a 5th...the formula is more convoluted than awarding a pick on the basis of one player...

Polk, Morris, the corner whose name I forget (went to the Lions, ended up on IR).
Who else?
