Patriots QB Tom Brady Sues GM Over Ads

LOS ANGELES - New England Patriots (news) quarterback Tom Brady is suing General Motors Corp. for allegedly using his likeness in an ad after his contract with the automobile giant had expired.



Brady filed the $2 million lawsuit Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. He also is seeking punitive damages.

Messages left for officials at GM and Cadillac, as well as with Brady's agent and his attorneys, were not returned Tuesday night.

I guess technically GM violated the law, but Brady's just being a bastard. It's not like he didn't already advertise with them and they didn't pay him millions for it, and it's not like 2 ads ruined his reputation. GM is a company that employs thousands of working class employees and is constantly forced to lay them off- this rich bastard is just going to make that situation worse by suing them.

I think it's all sour grapes because they were late delivering his Caddy after the last SB. F Tom Brady.

In Brady's defense, I doubt that it is really Tom Brady that's doing the suing. His agent probably is doing all the work. My guess is that Brady really couldn't give a rat's @$$.
