I really think we would win more games with JP than Drew. It's not gonna be hard for JP to equal Drew's numbers. PLus JP can run. I think we win 10 games with JP.

The question is moot because we win with running, defense and ST

I think we can win 9 again unless he is absolutely terrible.

Unless he tanks for some unknown reason, I don't see him doing any worse than Drew. When he knew he was going in, he did well, when they threw him in from his 3rd string spot, was the only time he struggled, but that won't happen when he's starting.
I say 9 or better, but not worse, we've still got that D and ST's.
He will struggle against the better defenses, but so did Drew!
I'm ready for the JP era NOW!
With Drew in there, it'll be the same as last year, with JP, it'll be more exciting.
GO LOSMAN!!!!!!

Call me crazy but, I think we can make the playoffs with JP next year.

We have a strong defense and, great special teams along with two good WR's and a great running game.

His scrambling ability will make up for his lack of knowledge of hte NFL game, IMO.

Bledsoe averaged 1.25 TD, 1 INT, 16 of 28, 183 yards, and 2.37 rushing yards a game.

You can't tell me JP can't at least equal that or have similar numbers to it.

I think between 6 and 10 depending on how well the rest of the team plays. JP is gonna lose us some games on mistakes etc. Thats ok as long as we see some flashes of goodness from him at the same time.

I see jamze132 finally learned how to start a thread :D Good job man :D

I'm not sure. I seriously think that people's furiation (is that even a word?) at Bledsoe, which is understandable for the most part, is causing people to exaggerate quite a bit. Mobility does not mean jack $#!t unless you know how to use it properly in the NFL. It took guys like Vick, McNabb, Culpepper, even Favre and Young forever before they finally got the hang of it. Then you have guys like Rob Johnson who never got the hang of it. The learning curve is going to be alot bigger than people think. Actually, mobility can tend to get young QB's in alot of trouble because they panic and run, trying to make a play when a receiver is actually wide open, and vice versa. They need to learn when to run and when to throw, and that is a much harder task than it sounds like. Unless JP Losman is a special case, I don't see him being that different in 2005. That is why I doubt that the Bills will make the playoffs with Losman at QB. He is going to have alot more trouble than people think. Now some people are perfectly fine with that, and I would be too except for the fact that it would meant the Bills' 5th "rebuilding" year in 7 seasons. Playoffs are a must in my eyes, especially because all the other pieces are in place and won't be for much longer. 2006 will be a FA year for alot of Bills players.

As I look at the 49ers sad excuse for a football team, I see you guys with the 1st pick again, maybe this time you'll make Matt Leinart quit football all together!!

JP, if he in fact becomes the starter, will have to avoid mistakes the same way Roethlisberger did this year for the Steelers. The coaching staff will have to mask his inexperience with a dominant running game, a basic, uncomplicated passing attack, and stellar defensive and special teams play.

If that happens, we could match or exceed this year's 9 wins.

Because we've chosen sooner the last 5 years. I have confidence that MM will make the right decision in training camp NOT now.

As long as our defense and our ST plays the way they did this season, I honestly dont see Losman doing any worse than Bledsoe did (we might even win more games if our line improves more and consequently our running game improves).

I dont expect JP to win us games by carrying the team on his back either, so as long as he doesnt force too many throws he/we should be fine.
His time is now... He HAS to be the starter come next season.

As long as Losman doesn't make massive mistakes, i don't think how many games we will win/lose will be in his hands. As long as he plays decent, we can win 10, maybe even 11 games. We'll be winning games because of our special teams, defense and Willis McGahee.

If Losman plays outstanding and carries us thru in some tuff games, then who knows how many he can win.

He will need to be really awful to only win like 4-6 games like some are saying. Bledsoe had some really poor games and we still won, in blowouts.

Losman's job will be much easier with a expierenced Evans and Eric Moulds, and hopefully a stronger O-Line.

I don't care about no stinkin schedule. I can see JP & the rest of the team winning about 10 games. I'm just :grovel: that he doesn't break anything but records this time. I would go absolutely crazy if he gets injured again.

I see the Bills finishing somewhere between 8-8 and 10-6 again- about the same we were this year.

Sure JP will make some plays Drew coudn't that might win a game for us here or there, but he will also make a rookie boneheaded move here or there that might cost us a game or two.

My biggest concern is having an experienced vet QB as a backup. JP is a bit reckless and he could get hurt again.
