Copied off Seattle, IMO. Made a wussy looking bird in to a slightly meaner looking bird.

Whoops: didn't read the above post...sorry :)

Let's get this straight- a cardinal is not a tough bird. You see them in your back yard bird feeders. All the other NFL birds would kick the cardinals butt and he knows it. The new cardinal isn't tough or mean but it could be annoyed. Annoyed because: 1) He's the mascot of a team that plays in 110 degree heat in the desert. 2) Year in year out he's the laughingstock of the league. 3) The falcons, eagles and seahawks like to talk smack at him and he's sick of it but too small to do anything about it.

I always liked their unis. I don't think they needed a change but at least it was moderate.

Now if Ralph would only get ours to not look like the USFL I'd be happy. Bottom line - the stripes on the pants do NOT work with the side stripe on the jersey.

cool, now send Drew there.

OMFG. Their new jerseys are so :limp:

WTF is it with baby blue? Titans, then us, now the cards? Baby blue does NOT belong on a football uni, unless you are the Super Chargers.

Baby blue ... now teams will be even MORE intimidated!!

btw, the Bills don't use baby blue ... it's the old blue, which looks light when compared to the new darker blue

gotta go back before that. The Houston Oilers got the baby blue thing started. It sucked then and it sucks now.

I always liked the Card's uni's. Im glad the change was subtle  Im not crazy about the way some teams have gone to the "Arena leauge" style of uniform. IE Atlanta for one.

Im old school though. I like traditional uniforms

Shoot I would still like the old standing Buffalo or the old white helmets with the charging Buffalo. We changed to the red helmets if you remember because all the other teams in out division had white background helmets and it was decided our QB could pick out the red helmet easier.

NE had the old white and red, The Jets had the white background and green emblem. Indy who was in the division at the time had there white helmet and blue horse shoe and of course Miami had a white background.

I think it's stupid that they are still the Cardinals. Are there any real cardinals in Arizona?

the Cardinals should've used the state bird

Arizona's state bird, the Cactus Wren is seven to eight inches long and likes to build nests in the protection of thorny desert plants like the arms of the giant saguaro cactus.

It builds many nests but lives in only one. The rest are decoys.

Arizona adopted the cactus wren as its state bird in 1973
