Yeah.........he would be an ok backup. But if you trade for him you have to take his contract. He makes to much. He's only worth a mill or so a year IMO

Only someone as stupid as Wannstedt would give Jay Fiedler a contract that, in 2005 will count for over 7 million against the cap. I wouldn't trade for him either. He will be cut ASAP.
