they're my second team too but I'd never bet on them. They don't have a prayer. As far as I'm concerned, NE has been the SB champs since halfway through the third quarter against Pitt. And each time I think about it, I die a little inside.

I wouldn't have any faith in the Eagles in any scenario. I think the 3 best teams in football this season were NE, Indy and Pitt. I think Philly loses to any one of them in the SB. :idunno:

I actually like Phili in the game, a stat that I know is that ANDY REID when given 2 weeks to prepare is 9-0, yea thats right 9-0. I think many people are not talking enough about the Eagles and I like them to win the game outright. I just dont see the Eagles winning this one. Though it pains me to say it, IMO this isnt a game the Eagles can win, -but it is a game that the Patriots can lose.
As long as Brady doesnt screw up (like in the pitts game in the regular season), the Pats should win it.

IMO the Eagles arent built to beat a team like the Pats. To beat the pats you need a blue collar, smashmouth, tough D type team (ie., Pitts ---> Roethlisberger couldnt handle the big game, Bills?---> if we can get good QB play,etc..).

The difference though is they are playing the Patriots and not teams that have sucked for the most part the last few years like the Cowboys, Giants and Redskins..It is impressive though...

Hey it could have went the way of the Eagles if not so many turnovers. BUT I won another Superbowl and now my record is 7-1 in the last 8 yrs against the spread. I have to admit it was a nice Back Door cover, anyone who didnt bet the Eagles, well WOW..............The whole country was on the Patriots and it was so obvious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
