    Warner nursing sore right hand

When Kurt Warner showed up with his throwing hand wrapped in a plastic bag filled with about a pound of ice Wednesday, it looked like more quarterback woes for the St. Louis Rams.

They already lost the NFL's MVP for five games with a broken pinkie, and backup Marc Bulger, who led the team to a 5-0 record in Warner's absence, was a wounded No. 3 quarterback last week with a sprained right index finger that limited his effective range to about 10 yards.

Rams quarterback Kurt Warner's throwing hand was wrapped in ice Wednesday because of soreness that he also felt in the team's loss last weekend.

With the way Warner's wife looks, that busted up right hand of Warner's probably severely limits his sex life too.

Stuff like this just grinds my beans.

Warner couldn't beat out Joey Harrington for the Lions' starting job. Harrington has more wins. Warner'd have to win out just to equal Harrington. It's not gonna happen. He'll get benched first. He sucks.

        UPDATE:

Kurt Warner's throwing hand is broken, and he will miss at least the St. Louis Rams' next two games.

Coach Mike Martz ordered Warner to have his right hand X-rayed Monday after the quarterback insisted several times during a meeting that he is fine. The exams showed a hairline fracture, which won't require surgery. Warner could play, in theory, but Martz said the pain is too strong.

This is rediculous that Warner is saying he is fine. He should severly penalized by the Rams he cost them a playoff berth by insisting he is ok when he is injured.

                  UPDATE:

There will be no last chance to make a good impression for Kurt Warner, placed on injured reserve Thursday by the St. Louis Rams.

The move came a day after head coach Mike Martz suggested there will be an open quarterback competition next year if former third-stringer Marc Bulger, who led the Rams to five consecutive victories earlier in the season, picks up where he left off.
