"In the past 38 super bowls, 25 have matched teams with a human mascot against an animal mascot and the human has beaten the animal 18 times."

Yet another stat that goes against us. Fantastic.

Can someone please give me statistics regarding the identities of these morons who actually have enough time to develop the above statistic?

It's superbowl week. everything is overanalyized. but i agree, its a crazy stat to come up with, that's why i posted it.

better than discussing Eric Moulds sex life like other posts though.http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/images/icons/icon7.gif

Well, I guess we're responsible for 4 of those 18. Giants, Redskins and Cowboys are all human. (Giants being humanoid for lack of a better definition)

if it didn't say mascot in the joke heading, you could call us humans. Buffalo Bill obviously being a person.

in the end, what an annoying stat and where is our superbowl glory. i hate to be 12 again, but i hate sitting here watching the ugly prom queen get all the glory. Meanwhile the hottest team and most exciting was sent home.

I'm unusually bitter today. sorry.

I was afraid no one was going to say that. Any true Bills fan should know their original team name was the Buffalo Codys, named after the same person, "Buffalo" Bill Cody. (noted, I believe, for the amazing number of bison he massacred.)

We didn't have a mascot in those days.

Yep, Billy didn't show up until 2000.

How sad is it that they don't even tell you the name of the guy wearing that suit. He must really feel important.
