      Do you have a link?

I've been going to TSN.ca for my info, they've been much better than ESPN. they don't have anything about this.

Tomorrow would be a good time to drop the news, because it will be friday and also most sports minded people will be focusing on the Superbowl for the whole weekend - by monday it will be old news.

The big guns are back at the bargaining table today, as NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA executive director Bob Goodenow meet face-to-face for the first time since Dec. 9.

Sources indicate the meeting began around 1:30pm et at an undisclosed location in New York.

Adding to the suspense is an ESPN report that an unidentified team owner has said the league will announce a cancellation of the season either Thursday or Friday. The owner reportedly indicated the announcement could come following Thursday's negotiating session.

              ****..

all i've been hearing other than the NHL Cancelation and some tennis.. and Nash's suspension..

but the last 2 weeks.. 98% of the ESPN News is:

              1. Tom Brady is Perfect in teh Post Season ..
--> I Say He's A Lucky SOB and the Field Goal Kicker Shoulda Got Both of the MVP awards Seeing He Kicked Both Game Winning Field Goals..

              2. Will T.O. Play.. . Im An Eagles Fan.. Its Annoying Already.. **** the team is annoyed with that question...

That WOuld Be Funny AS ****, Considering the Players and The 4 Owners Already Said the Season is Over.... If they come out of that meeting with a deal..

optimal scenerio in my mind is they make the deal and implement it next year... theres not enough time for a season.. maybe a Tournament or something but thats it..

The only two hockey teams worth following are the Colorado Aves, and Philadelphia Flyers, and Colorado College Tigers #1 in college hockey.

I think I said this would happen...

The players must come to their senses or there will be no game.

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

But the owners must realize that they need to have some major revenue sharing if they want the Salary cap to work, just like the NFL.

The owners do want that. The problem is the players won't even go near that road.
