What a complete waste!!
The rules of player allocation needs to be changed to prevent dumb asses like Tom Donahoe from abusing the system and/or league.
The whole point is to develop players that you will use in the future. Not just bring in stiffs off the street to meet your allocation requirements and release all of them when they return from Europe.
The NFL Europe thing is just one other example of the incompetence of Tom Donahoe.

Here's some interesting info...
New England Patriots kicker ADAM VINATIERI (Amsterdam 1996), Kansas City Chiefs guard BRIAN WATERS (Berlin 2000), Philadelphia Eagles kicker DAVID AKERS (Berlin 1999), Green Bay Packers guard MARCO RIVERA (Scotland 1997) and Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle LA’ROI GLOVER to the Pro Bowl means a total of 16 NFLEL veterans have been selected to the all-star game in Hawaii on 32 occasions.

Brantley is a good athlete but was a second tier prospect coming out of college. He has some upside. If Pochman can get some consistency on FG attempts he might be able to do something. Fifty three percent won't do it though. Mostly camp fodder.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Brian Moorman
And
Did they allocate him to NFL Europe or did they sign him after he returned from the league? theblackbear does not remember the Bills sending him there.

PRO:
Joined the Bills as a free agent on 7/20/01 and handled the team's punting and kickoff duties in the 2001 season…originally signed by the Seahawks on 2/24/99 and was in Seattle's training camp in 1999 and 2000 but was released before the start of the season each time…allocated to NFL Europe by the Seahawks in 2000 and was assigned to the Berlin Thunder…played for the Thunder in 2000 and 2001 and led the league in punting each season.

I couln't believe that the Bills never sent Travis Brown to NFLE.
Maybe they should send Aiken.
