Personally, I can't understand why anyone would say they aren't a dynasty. 3 titles in 4 years. Sean Salisbury was giving Michael Irvin grief for saying last year that they weren't. But 2 in 3 years I don't think can be classified as a dynasty. 3 in 4? I don't see how you can question it.

You gotta respect it too, I think. The way they go about everything leads to success. Who woulda thought that they'd do this after losing both starting CBs to the IR?

They just methodically wear you down, until you beat yourself with a mistake.

agree...but they are one of the weakest dynastys ever...they don't "beat" anybody )dominate)...they just do what is necessary to win.

true but that doesn't make them a dynasty. A dynasty is success over an extended period of time, and after yesterday, I can no longer deny the truth- the Pats qualify.

yep. I'll agree they are a dynasty. But compared to ALL the other ones, they are the weakest.

Now the question is...will they remain a dynasty, or will losing their top level coaches change everything???

Wishful thinking but it ain't gonna happen. Bellicheck said he'll replace them from the inside. So you have an HC who knows their system, two assistants who know their system, and players who have been playing in the system for 4 years. At most, it will cost them two games and they'll still win the division easily at 12-4.

The championships alone speak for themselves.

Its like a bad dream....but the Pats are the most dominant team since the cowboys of the 90's and are a dynasty in my books.

This team played their 2nd worst football all year and still beat the best the NFC had to offer.

What is a dynasty in pro football? I'm not sure there is such a thing, but Ne England is about as close as we're likely to see to a dynasty if it isn't.

In sports, three titles in four years is considerable
