All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

What was unthinkable a month ago looks at least possible now. The Chargers could pick up their third first round draft pick in return. Dallas and Arizona are the most logical trading partners.

The success of their team this year had a lot to do with Brees' emergence. Unless Rivers has the same type of break out year next year, they will take a step back.
They should franchise him for one year and if does the same then trade Rivers and not Brees...Why get rid of a QB after he made the pro bowl and is young...It takes a few years to take it to the next level and Brees is past the big learning curve...stupid move...
If Arizona takes Brees they may go after Henry since they will lose there first round pick so they won't draft one of the prize RB's in the draft. This move to trade Brees could help Buffalo as a result.

Dumb move. I agree completely with romes. Living in San Diego I have read for the last 10 years about how this team needs a quarterback. Now they are going to give away the best one they've had? They have sooooo much cap room, tag him and le thim play another year, then decide if you want to sign him long term or not.

I kinda agree with you here but they are in a tough spot for sure! If they Trade him they need to start all over with Rivers. If they keep Brees they waisted a 1st on Rivers. Tough call. I am not sold on Rivers either.
