Why don't the players accept what the owners are giving them and just strike next year. They would have all summer to talk about a new deal. what do you think?

Because both sides are interested in a long term contract.

Besides we all know that they wouldn't resolve anything over the summer, it's taken months to get nothing so far...

but at least there would be a season this year.
