FAs- What are you hoping for.

I am wishing for OL, and would love to get a gamebreaking DE.

Depending on how things go with current players, backup RB, backup QB, OT, DT could be issues as well.

I want our cap dollars spent on a good OLINEMAN, preferably a Tackle...a productive TE, and a solid possession receiver. Thank you.

All that after we sign Pat.

Resigning big Pat should be our #1 priority. After that, backup QB (assuming the rumors are true and Drew is done) and O-line. I'd like to see something done about DE and TE, but we can work with what we have in those positions.

I wonder what kind of $ Bubba Franks is looking for- he'd be a great weapon for JP and can play in the cold.

Bills Off season in a nutshell

Release Drew Bledsoe (savings 2 mil)

Re-Sign Pat Williams! Should not break, somewhere in the 2 mil per year range.
1st LG Free Agent 1.5-2 mil per year
2nd Dominant Blocking TE Free Agent(Kyle Brady should be released)
3rd Sign Vetern BU QB (Mike McMahon)
        4th Extend Nate Clements
        5th Extend Terrance McGee
6th Trade Travis for late second round pick
7th Draft kicker with the Travis Pick (go with consensus Nugy or sign Viniteri)
8th Release Lindell save 1/2 mil.
        9th Draft Center 2rd Round
10th Draft Draft WR 3rd Round
11th Draft Draft OT 4th Round
        12th Draft DB 5th Round
13th Draft QB 6th Round (worked pretty good for NE)
        14th Draft DE/LB 7th Round

I pretty much agree with this. Although I don't know if Nate will be receptive to extending his contract vs testing the waters...

I also doubt that we'd get a 2nd rd draft pick for TH, but maybe a 3rd. And with the 3rd we could grab Nugent or wait a little longer and grab one of the next 2 after him that appear pretty decent.

For Center - I'd draft Chris Spencer or if he's taken Ben Wilkerson. Otherwise, I'd wait til the next round and take Jason Brown.

WR - I like Vincent Jackson, but he didn't look too good recently - it's up to the scouts to determine if he might be a good pick for us or not. We need a 3rd/slot receiver and one who is tough and not going to be dropping balls. I've also heard Clayton mentioned...

OT - by the 4th, I'm not sure who'll be available, but maybe Khalif if he's still there. If not, we might need someone like Pettiti.

DB - I like Jimmy Williams and think he can be a future starter if we lose Nate.

TD might be interested in getting a TE for assurance purposes if Euhus and Campbell don't recover or aren't the same when they return. Also, he might be interested in getting a big back in case McGahee were to go down (assuming we lose TH). I don't think many people believe that Shaud could handle it in the long run - especially since he's more an elusive type runner that may not fit the smash mouth mold.

But all in all, I pretty much agree with everything above.

Pat is going to cost around $3 - $3.5 million a year.

That's what we paid for Sam and he's a pro bowler, plus Pat wants to stay! Home town discount!
