Mark Gaughan, of the Buffalo News, reports with the salary cap savings of WR Eric Moulds' new deal and the impending release of veteran QB Drew Bledsoe later this month, the Buffalo Bills would be approximately $14 million under the salary cap heading into free agency.

Mark Gaughan, of the Buffalo News, reports the Buffalo Bills are expected to release veteran QB Drew Bledsoe, possibly by the end of this month, as the club plans to give 2004 first-round draft pick QB J.P. Losman the starting job in 2005, according to several league sources. The Bills would save $2.2 million in salary cap space by releasing Bledsoe, but the quarterback would still count $4.3 million in salary cap space, which is the amount of amortized bonus money left on the Bills' books as a result of a bonus Bledsoe received in May.
