Shane Matthews or Kelly Holcomb..

I wouldn't mind Kelly Holcomb. I think he's a solid backup QB and reminds me very much of Frank Reich.

He's also one of those QB's that you know can play in a big game and not look confussed and lost, but also, he's not anything great that Losman would have to look over his shoulder for the entire season.

THE BILLS WILL BE LOOKING FOR A MODERATELY PRICED VET WHO WILL BACK UP LOSMAN. SOMEONE WITH STARTING EXPERIENCE GARCIA AND HOLCOMB
DON'T FIT THAT MODE...

Bills will probably consider Jay Fiedler, once Miami cuts him. Average arm but mobile and smart. Has plenty of starting experience and poise. Whether anyone here likes him or not makes little difference. It's whether he's a good fit for what Mularkey wishes to do. If they actually considered Kordell, then Fiedler makes the most sense. No more statue QB's or other QB's who would be upset if they couldn't start ( Garcia ).

Heard Peter King talking on WGR this afternoon. He mentioned a couple of possibilities-Brad Johnson (one or both QBs are seen to be casualties-King said "bloodbath" in regard to Tampa's situation) or Neil O'Donnell. O'Donnell, according to King, would be a good fit because he wouldn't be that expensive (remember the $4million dead cap from Bledsoe's departure), he's smart (Steve McNair sung his praises) and he's not all about being a star.
