    Shane Matthews as Backup....

Donahoe said that Shane Matthews is their first choice for JP Losman's backup. This scares me. Matthews was practically retired last year until they picked him up for an emergency. Now, they want him to be the backup to Losman, which means that he takes the reins if Losman goes down with an injury. He will be 35 years old and is worse than Drew Bledsoe. This basically means that JP Losman is getting handed the job, no matter how good or bad he does in the offseason and preseason. I don't agree with that. I'd rather have another guy like Kitna, Brad Johnson, Brian Griese, or even Tommy Maddox as the backup. They'd make me much more comfortable.

Did it scare you in September?

I'd rather we have him as a #3 than Travis Brown

I want someone else for the 2nd string position. Is he totally ruling out Peters?

I think Peters could be very effective running the option out of the wishbone.

Former Penn State guy. Now in NFL Europe.

Look for the Bills to draft a guy in the 5th round or later as well as signin a vet. I would prefer Frerotte to Matthews.

Not as much as Jay Fiedler.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I'd take a guy like Garcia, Warner, or Maddox as backup over Matthews if the price was right.

If Vinny T is available, he would be cheap, experienced, history of winning in the division, and would be geared up to be the backup.

Did you see the Browns game? Did you see what our team did to Jeff Garcia? He sucks.

Mikey- While I'm not a fan of Garcia- that was a pretty unfair contest. He came in with one arm and got knocked out in 5 plays.
