you guys know how the bills went 2-12 in 1976 right?so when i was playing madden 2005,i dicided i should revoke their season .at the start of the seson,the bills where dominate,by crushing the chiefs in a defensive performance 28-14,then knocking of the buc's 24-10 on the road :tired: .but in wk
three the bills dropped a loss at home to the jets 24-10 in a poor offensive game in which the bills only had 197 yds of o.
but then week 4 came as the bills took on the pats and turn on the jucie and beat the pats 40-34.but this game was special though.the bills came back from a 17 pt defitcit in the 4th and came back on a pair of td passes from j.ferguson.
in other words let me tell you about it................ :shocked:
http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:CkBppGUChOAJ:www.nflnut.com/store/media/BillsJoeFergusonPlaque.jpg as the bills took on the 3-0 patriots at home,they where suspected by news papers to get smashed in this one.in the first qt the bills got the ball and fergy and simpson and co. drove the ball to the pat 45 ,but stalled and ended up getting the ball to the pats.then the pats capitalized and took the ball to the buffalo 7.but the bills 3rd ranked d stop the pats to a fg to give them the lead 3-0 in the first.then the pats later on in the first scored on a 7 play 87 yd drive when qb.7 hi his rb for a 14 yd td pass to extend the lead 10-0 with 1:11 left in the first.but do not count out the bills as j.ferguson hit a.rashad(in my game he re-signed with the bills)40 yds for a td to be down by 3 at the end of the first,10-7.then in the second ,the pats capitalized on bills turnovers(two INT to cb24 and mlb 51,and a fumble by oj simpson.)and turned it into pts as the pats scored on a 38 yd pass from qb.7 to wr 86 ,and a fg by k.18 ,to give the pats a 20-7 lead at the 2:00 mark .but the bills only managed a fg at the end the half to be down by 10 ,20-10.but as the third came around, it was a night mare for the bills as the pats got a pair of tds to lead 34-10,but the bills managed a td at the end of the third when j.ferguson threw a long bomb to b.chandler to be down buy 17 ,at the end of the third 34-17 .then in the forth,the bills where stoped on every drive,until at the 5:00 mark when fergy came on fire and threwamd threw three more td passes that estimated 270 yds total.but where still down 34-31 with:59 seconds to go.but the electric company got it together and g.lepidot nailed a 34 yd fg at :00 to go.then ot came as the pats won the coin toss and got possesion of the ball.but they did not move the ball a single inch on their first drive ,and the bills capitalized on 3rd down when ferguson threw a 49 yd td passto a.rashad to come back with style 40-34 ot.
by the way j.ferguson was 30 of 46 for 444 yds and 5tds to win afc honors and reached a carrer high for completions and attempts.and the bills o had a total of 597yds of total o. for now i will see you on the dark side of the moon. PEACE!!! :peace:
