Well, the time has come to lay to rest the incessant battle over how much Drew sucked and hurt this team.

He has been cut and is no more.

Therefore I propose we all start fresh for the new season. No more arguing over Drew. Let's retire the DLC and the Amigos organizations for now. If in the future another player becomes the focus of such divided opinion, we can always resurrect them, even though we all know the Amigos will win again.

JP is now our starting QB. I hope to God we don't get any journeyman QB to start "until JP is ready".

I liked Drew and I thought he gave us the best chance to win last year. He is no longer a Bill and as much as I hope he succeeds in the future, I can't wait to see what our new QB is now capable of.

Don't EVER associate the Ostrich Club with the DLC. There is no association there.

What was/is the difference? Both failed to see the reality of Drew. :idunno:

Well the DLC doesn't have much of an argument anymore. And neither do the Amigos, when it comes to Drew.

However... we still have Lindel. Will the Amigos ride one more time?

I am pretty sure that we knew that Drew was not getting the job done so lets not sit back like you guys are a bunch of genius's.

I'll miss Drew, but I'm sticking by JP Losman and will be rooting for him thru thick and thin. The future looks bright. Let's hope he is as good as we think he is.

I agree and feel the same way, save for one additional word between 'I'll' and 'miss':
'not'

Beyond that, Bledsoe's horrendous touch on short throws often hamstrung their play calling.

Bledsoe's 53.7 percent completion percentage (36 of 67) on throws behind the line of scrimmage was alarming. Brady and Indianapolis' Peyton Manning hit more than 76 percent of their screen tosses.

i know he is gone never to infuriate us again but this is an alarming stat i read this morning. a NFL VET of however many years struggling to barely get over 50% on little screen plays. like ive said many times JP will not have to light the world on fire he will just have to execute some of the simplest plays around which OLD UNFAITFUL COULDNT DO!

I am pretty sure that we knew that Drew was not getting the job done so lets not sit back like you guys are a bunch of genius's.I don't think you want me to dig up the old Ostrich threads, e.g., "it was the oline", "it was the drops", "it was the system", etc. Admit it, you guys held on to the illusion he wasn't the primary problem with our offense long after the amigos realized it.

So yes, we are genuises.
