well.. our jobs as amigos has been well served.. the amigos spoke, and upper management listened.. it is time to put our full efforts into supporting JP Losman unconditionally! I have been reasonable and rational for far too long.. i am ready to bury my head in the sand and scream "GO JP" under any and all circumstances.

Amigo Darth... can you please assist in making another great sig. I will nominate myself for the JPLC president, unless someone else would like the role. i will handle all press confrences, media relations, and formal announcements.

I am putting the Calvin Avatar up and dawning a new face soon, as we take a step in the right direction and move towards the ultimate goal, a superbowl win.

I need some addition help on the team.. The following board positions are available:

1. Vice president.. if i ever get assassinated, you take over all my duties.. you will be my right hand man.
2. Chief of Blame Deflection.. this will be a very important role in the survival of the JPLC.
3. Chief of Marketing... in charge of all marketing.. letting the world know about our organization.. must have artistic abilities and be creative w/ software.
4. Lead Recruiter.. Responsible for the recruitment of new members.
5. Chief Legal Officer.. responsible for all the legal aspects of the club, including slander suits against nonbelievers who dare doubt the savior of the team.

There is also an unlimited amount of membership slots available. The only requirement of membership is to praise JP Losman for everything and blame him for nothing. You must believe that he will take us to the promise land.

This is an equal opportunity group. Everyone has a clean slate and regardless of any prior group/club affiliations, you are welcome here, as long as you follow the one membership rule above.

I don't want to be a fan who gives the qb a free pass all the time when he screws up. Qb's mess up. That's understandable. The key is: Is he good enough to get out a bind and rally the team to win games. In other words, can he redeem himself and overcome his mistakes. That's all that really matters to me. I'm going to get my JPL jersey in support of our new qb. I just hope I don't have to end up selling it on ebay in a year or two.

I'm just annoyed because of the thread where BillsFever was still bringing up the "Drew Lickers" and now i read a thread where they are keeping up the LC crap by trying to start a JPLC. It's ridiculous and one of the reasons why I'm glad Drew is gone is because I figured it would put an end to all that childish crap. I guess I was wrong. :idunno:

Some ideas for names...

1. The Vatican (we rejoice over our holy savior, "John Paul VII" or "7" -- hey! Seven is a holy number too!)
2. The Love Child of Doug Flutie and Rob Johnson Club (#7 Bills QB who runs for his life, but has large frame and strong arm of Johnson... nah, name is too long, besides it stings a little)
3. The UCLA Dropouts (self-explanatory)
4. The Losman Zone (LZ)
5. B.I.L.L.S. (Bledsoe Incinerators' Losman Lovers Syndicate -- or anything else that makes more sense)

My original thought was that Drew should start in 2004 and 2005 with JP getting increasingly more time each year til he starts in 2006. JP's injury and Drew's inconsistency in 2004 changed my mind. It's possible that Drew could've led us to the Super Bowl in 2005 but odds were against it, IMO. Even if he did, he wasn't going to play at a high level much longer. Might as well try to move towards the future while we can.

Well my thoughts were similar Phil. I still think JP needs another year. What has he gained from this past year? IMO we go with a nice quality QB that we lie to and tell him he could be our QB otf lol. But a somewhat mobilwe QB with a decent arm and siome exp would be ideal. Enter Tony Banks. I was in awe when we knowcked out Carr and Banks came in and beat the piss outta our D. What a cannon.

I know what you're saying and to an extent, I almost agree. But JP isn't going to learn much sitting on the bench. And I don't see Banks being good enough to take us to the Promised Land in 2005. The only one I think might've had the best shot was Drew Bledsoe. He has one distinct advantage over anyone else. He knows the system. He's not sticking around so I honestly think it'd be counter-productive to play anyone but JP in 2005

I was not in the Amigos. I was not in the DLC. With some caution, I think I can join the L2 club, or whatever name we settle on. I lilke a lot of things about him. He is our QB, and I am optimistic that he is going to do well, and will to be patient through some early growing pains, but we know that eventually potential has to translate into production. I love my kids, but I hold them accountable for the things they do. Ultimately, it's not going to be different for JP as the Bills' QB.
