Another loss followed by another discouraging injury report for the Chicago Bears.

Coach Dick Jauron said Monday that running back Anthony Thomas likely would miss the rest of the season with a broken left index finger.

Thomas, the team's rushing leader with 721 yards on 214 carries, won NFL offensive rookie of the year honors last year. He was injured in the second quarter of Sunday's 30-20 loss at Green Bay and replaced by Leon Johnson.
