All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Too many ifs ands or buts for me. I've heard the story and followed it thru the night on WFAN 590(much more knowledgeable than our 550) and there are a lot of denials to an agreement being reached though there appears to be an underlying optimism.
For my part I am disappointed; I think the owners caved in again. I feel the big-city boys put on a lot of pressure to get the deal since they are making money...If this sounds familiar check the baseball deal.
I CANT BELIEVE THIS, I HAVE A GUT FEELING THAT IT IS TRUE!
I AM GETTING LIKE 30 PPL AND GOING TO THE FIRST HOME GAME!!!! WOOO

I think bettman out manurvered goodnow big time, the players blinked not the owners and I think goodnow will be out of a job. He banked on the onwers giving in like in 94 ,and I think everybody knew the owners were going to hold their ground but goodnow. Sure he look like a genius in 94 but he met his match this time. I was never a fan of bettman but he did what he was paid to do.
Political correctness ( or cancel culture as it is called today) is a doctrine fostered by a delusional ,illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by MSM which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
Harry S Truman 1941.
Yea but other ESPN reports are saying that the owners were not too happy with Bettman using their final offer as a take it or leave it offer and apparently decided they could work something else out, so Bettman may be out of a job as well...
The NHL went to the PLAYERS.....not the other way around...so the NHL didnt give in, the players did.
