Wow, that sucks...I do still remember, at the tail end of his career, he punted the ball straight up in the air and it bounced backwards for a punt stat of 1 yard.

      RIP Reggie.

everytime i hear someone ***** about players making too much money i think about this:

"The average life expectancy of an American is 76 years old. For an NFL player, it's 58-years-old." Ouch!

          - I remember watching objects fly in my house Jan. 27th 1991 (XXV) as Scott Norwood missed, But I remember holding hands in my living room as Steve Christie scored three points to cap a 35 point comeback victory with Frank Reich at the Helm.

Former punter Reggie Roby, a 16-year NFL veteran and three-time Pro Bowl selection, died Tuesday after being found unconscious at home by his wife. He was 43.

              RIP

What a shame. Sounds like he was doing good things in his life, too.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

The only punter who knew what time it was.

He was the only punter I've ever seen who could keep his plant leg on the ground while punting. That's amazing

Reggie was amazing. I read an article not too long ago that basically said that he could still boot it as far as punter's today can. If that was true, it is amazing. Opposing offense hated him, our defense loved him.

                          RIP Mr. Roby

I'd give up 18 years of my life to live in the fast lane like a king instead of living paycheck to paycheck.
