Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday that the club had released DE Vonnie Holliday...Weren't we in the running for signing hijm 2 years ago?? Couldn't he help our depth at d-line?

Holliday (6-5, 290) played in nine games (three starts) for Kansas City in 2004, recording 13 tackles (nine solo), four QB pressures and two passes defensed. In two seasons (2003-04) with the Chiefs, he appeared in 25 games (19 starts). He totaled 93 tackles (48 solo), 5.5 sacks (-50.0 yards), 11 QB pressures and five passes defensed. The Camden, South Carolina product joined the Chiefs as a free agent on April 7th of 2003.

he had 5 sacks against us on the day his father died.. he ate bledsoes ass all day. jonas jennings and mike williams both got twisted into pretzels. that was when he was with green bay.. that game got him over the 10 sack mark which helped him get his huge deal with the chiefs.
