I just read where Marcelus Wiley (sp) was cut by the Cowboys. Any interest in signing him?

As much as I want to say "Fire away Tom", I have to concede that in all likelihood, we will not see any significant defensive additions this offseason. Just too many holes on offense to fill and not enough $$ to go shopping for a pass rusher.

That being said...if somehow we can come up with the jack to get it done after everything else is covered, yeah I would take him for the veteran minimum.

His skills would be best utilized in 3-4 though I think.

The Bills drafted him in the 2nd round out of Columbia University.

he signed a huge deal in San Diego after leaving buffalo.. that was TDs first choice as the bills new gm.. moulds or wiley.. he picked moulds, thank god.

wiley had a couple good seasons with SD, but was not worth the hefty price tag.. they dropped him.. and the cowboys had him for one season.. and dropped him too..

i would say if san diego drops you and gets better.. and dallas doesnt like you after one year.. that is good enough for me to say, no thanks.

At this point in Wiley's career, I think we'd get more out of Ritzmann and Osunde.
