I just read where Marcelus Wiley (sp) was cut by the Cowboys. Any interest in signing him?

As much as I want to say "Fire away Tom", I have to concede that in all likelihood, we will not see any significant defensive additions this offseason. Just too many holes on offense to fill and not enough $$ to go shopping for a pass rusher.
That being said...if somehow we can come up with the jack to get it done after everything else is covered, yeah I would take him for the veteran minimum.

he signed a huge deal in San Diego after leaving buffalo.. that was TDs first choice as the bills new gm.. moulds or wiley.. he picked moulds, thank god.
wiley had a couple good seasons with SD, but was not worth the hefty price tag.. they dropped him.. and the cowboys had him for one season.. and dropped him too..

At this point in Wiley's career, I think we'd get more out of Ritzmann and Osunde.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
