Pasquarelli mentioned Buckhalter as a back up option if the bills traded Henry in one of his past tip sheets.

If the Bills trade former starter Travis Henry, as anticipated, they will need a backup tailback to play behind McGahee. One possibility is Correll Buckhalter of Philadelphia, who has suffered season-ending knee injuries in two of his four league seasons. When healthy, the star-crossed Buckhalter is a very solid back.

We seem to have luck with guys that have had knee problems. He is a solid hard nosed runner. He would be a great #2 option behind McGahee.

He is the best solution to our back-up RB problem assuming Henry is traded.

I wouldn't mind that!

That would give us two good knees out of two backs! I'll take it!

Is Buckhalter a FA or is he still attached to Philly?

he is an unrestricted free-agent

If we could keep him healthy, he'd be a great backup. The good news is that because of those injuries, he has very low mileage.

I just hope he's not so good when healthy that we create another RB controversy. :funny:

Nah. Like I said before, it smells like another Olandis Gary to me.

I'm not very familiar with CB, since he's mostly been a commitee style back in his days in Philly w/Duce and Westbrook. But from what I do know, he seems to be a good back-up option.

So who will be the odd man out at RB if the Bills do sign a back-up? Joe Burns, I suppose?

Burns had a couple games as starter to strut his stuff, and he sucked. Cut him.

yeah.. judging from the way his knee just EXPLODED with no contact at all last season.. he seems like a great back to depend on to carry the load if willis gets hurt.. i would have complete faith that he wouldnt blow his knee out again!

Does he want to be a starter? If he can accept a backup role, I'm for it.
